Connected vehicle temperature and location alerts
SafeCabinAlert is a prototype system designed to monitor vehicle conditions and send event notifications to an opted-in user when configured temperature conditions are detected.
Temperature monitoring
Connected hardware can report measured cabin temperature and related sensor data.
Location context
When available, location information may be included with an event notification.
SMS event alerts
Opted-in users can receive automated text notifications when a configured event condition occurs.
Example alert
SafeCabinAlert: Temperature is outside your selected range. Temperature: 105 F. Location: available location. Reply STOP to opt out.
SMS alert opt-in
Users enroll themselves to receive SafeCabinAlert event notifications. Message frequency varies based on configured events and device activity.
