SafeCabinAlert is a prototype connected-device service. This policy explains the types of information that may be processed when the service is used.
Information we may process
The service may process device identifiers, sensor readings such as temperature and humidity, device status, timestamps, approximate or resolved location information, and contact information supplied by a user for notifications.
SMS information
If a user opts in to SMS alerts, the service may use the supplied mobile number only to provide SafeCabinAlert notifications and related service messages. Mobile opt-in data and consent information will not be sold or shared with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
How information is used
Information may be used to operate the prototype, deliver requested alerts, troubleshoot device behavior, improve reliability, and maintain records needed to provide the service.
Service providers
SafeCabinAlert may rely on infrastructure providers, including cloud, telecommunications, and messaging providers, to transmit and store data needed to operate the service.

Prototype telemetry and event information may be retained for testing, troubleshooting, and product development. Retention practices may change as the service develops.
User choices
Users may reply STOP to an SMS alert to opt out of further SMS messages. Users may reply HELP for assistance where supported.
Security
Reasonable technical and administrative safeguards are used for prototype data. No internet-connected service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
The service is intended to be operated by an adult user. The website is not intended to collect personal information directly from children.
Changes
This policy may be updated as SafeCabinAlert develops. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
